Data Auditing
Our software evaluates each file specified from several perspectives. The goal is to measure a variety of factors that could cause a file to become unusable or inaccessible.
In addition to other features, Acumetric analysis assists the user by identifying data files that are corrupted, are in need of repair and the type of repair, potentially need modification, or are intact and offer the user the kind of technical robustness that can withstand time, change, and a chaotic software industry.
The results of the above analyses are provided to the user in a manner that addresses the broadest range of audiences, from the executive level to the very technical.
Data Profiling
Our solution provides users with the ability to perform their own assessment. These assessments can be implemented internally, across the enterprise, or across the globe, and allow organizations to assess, per a unique set of metrics, their proximity to whatever policy, practice or peer benchmarks they want to create.
Whether generating a baseline audit or monitoring compliance, the Acumetric data profiling tool is able to answer a host of file system integrity questions.
Infrastructure
The process of data auditing can be broken down into three steps:
- Locating the data to evaluate
- Selecting the evaluation to apply
- Assessing the results for improved data management
